Parent advice

Ok, so what do the heck do you do when you're out at a street fair in the University district and your baby has a poopy diaper? Since it's the U district, no restaurant (not even Jack in the crack) has a changing table. I walked for blocks, but couldn't find anywhere to change her. I ended up walking back to the truck and changing her on the tailgate, but that was a crappy spot for a diaper change. And what if I didn't have the truck? Do you put your changing pad on the sidewalk and change her on the ground? Use your lap somehow?

Here's a mommy question: Did you always get the letdown reflex when breastfeeding? Because I have plenty of milk, but don't get any tingly, burny feeling, actually I don't get any feeling at all. Am I weird?

I think I have other questions, but those are my main two right now.

I carry those chucks arounds.. yanno those things that they lay under you when you're having a baby in the hospital? So I can lay the girls on any surface (like the front seat of my car) for a change.

If you need to change on the sidewalk then that's what you need to do - sucks but the baby can't be in a poopy diaper all day.

I really don't remember the "letdown" feeling w/ my first. I do feel it now with my daughter, but not often. I don't think it's strange, all boobies are different - LOL.

How is Miss H? Hope she's great and I"m sure she's growing like crazy!
